The image depicts thirteen men, arranged in three groups and facing in various directions, all standing in a generic outdoor setting. They wear seventeenth century-style costume consisting predominantly of black coats and trousers with white square collars. Several wear black hats, and one waves his hat in the air. The majority either carry or lean on swords.

Line drawing in felt tip marker on ivory ~ 10x13” paper with shading. Woman’s arm and dress filled in completely with black, as well as a pane of the stained glass window that she holds. The wall, pitcher, parts of the woman’s head and shoulder covering and bodice, and cash register have been modeled in stylized “half tone” of zigzag separating white and black; shadows take the form of dense curlicues. The tablecloth bears splotches of black ink that were possibly made by blowing air on wet ink through a straw. The map has been filled in with ink drips and splatters.

The tablecloth bears a “pattern” of crosses and eye-shaped forms. The map has been filled in with fingerprints.

This painting is an abstract landscape scene with a grey building in the background against a dark blue sky.  There are multi-colored blocks, a red ball and a silver coil scattered in the middle of the image.  The ground is broken up into patches of grey, red, purple, and yellow. A wall-ike structure is included on the left side of the image, casting a shadow to its left and a canvas with a painting on it faces the viewer on the right. The bottom of the image is a block of lavender color with white text reading "Pittura Metafisica."
